Come on to find out your guys were the same one who moved me into my apartment at Versailles, and I couldn’t remember the number when I was looking for movers. I have used Dollar Movers three times, going on number four. I wouldn’t consider using anyone else. They are extremely affordable compared to the others. “I compared prices with others” and they don’t try to nickel and dime you like others tried to do. This is the price and that’s that. Plus they will work with you and I mean it, I needed help in a very difficult time in my life and they went above and beyond to help me, they really take the stress away from dealing with the move and have a small business attitude where they will do anything you want and not make you pay more. I am completely honest when I wrote this and I will NEVER be thankful enough for what they have done for me.

Mr. Jim Dixon:

I wanted to take a moment to let you know about my move which took place on Saturday, December 15, 2007.

It was a WONDERFUL experience!! Byron and his crew were great guys!

I received a phone call on Saturday morning from Byron advising he was on his way to meet me at the storage facility where my household goods were located. He was prompt and right on time with his arrival. The crew and Byron loaded my household goods in under a 1/2 an hour. They followed me to my apartment and commenced unloading. The owner of the building where I moved was very picky about his interior not being damaged by the movers. I asked Byron to please alert the crew of this and everyone was extremely careful in the old home. I inspected the hallways after the move and there was NOT one scratch or mark on any wall! This wasn't an easy move, as there were four flights of stairs to climb.

I used to work for a moving and storage company many years ago in the dispatch office where I would field the phone calls for complaints. I am well versed in just about anything that can go wrong on a move. My move was excellent!!

I can't stress enough the level of customer service, carefulness and overall friendliness I experienced with Byron and his crew!

I will definitely recommend Dollar Movers to anyone I run across who is looking for a most excellent moving company!

In November of 2006, Dollar Movers moved my Mother from her Catonsville home to a Senior Living Apartment.  That was a good experience which prompted us to call you again to hire your company for one hour to move heavy, bulky furniture between floors in our home in Timonium.

As pleased as we were in November with the first move, we are doubly happy with the courteous and efficient service we received today.  The challenge of minimal space for each maneuver was met with total confidence and ease.  Our hats off to Chris, Tyrone and Will.

In October 2005 I hired Dollar Movers to move about 25 articles. I had hired another company who the week before the move called to change the quote. Of course they wanted to charge us more so I cancelled my appointment with them. I ended up frantically trying to find another company with only one week to go. When I called Dollar Movers I was given a quote right over the phone. I described all the articles I wanted moved and was told that they charged by the piece. When I got the quote I booked them right away. I had gotten several other estimates that day and Dollar Movers beat all the others by a noticeable amount.

When moving day arrived, I was very nervous. I had many antiques and collectibles that needed to be moved. Some were very awkward and quite heavy. Joe and his crew arrived on time. It was a little rainy that day and he asked if it was still alright to do the move. He said he would put blankets over the furniture. They showed me the contract and examined all the items that were to be moved. The crew of three then immediately began to move my items. Before I knew it most of them were in the truck. My grandfather clock was one of the last items moved. It was covered and carefully placed in the truck. I was amazed at how they moved each piece so effortlessly. You could tell by their conversations as they decided the best way to move each piece that they were very experienced in what they were doing. I was very impressed. I began to relax and feel good about my decision to hire this company for my move.

When my furniture arrived at its new home they proceeded to place all the items exactly where I wanted them. Several times I changed my mind and needed a piece turned another way or moved to the other corner. They were always polite and said it was no problem. When I set up my clock I was so excited when I heard it chime for the first time. It had arrived safely and was in perfect working order. All my things arrived in good condition and moving day was not as bad as I had imagined it would be thanks to Joe and his crew. I would recommend this company to my friends. I was impressed with their professionalism and courtesy. It was a pleasure to deal with this company. Thank you for taking the stress out of my moving.

Dear Jim:

Just wanted to drop you a note and tell you how wonderful your movers were on the 19th moving me and my friend, Deb, from two places into our new home in Timonium.  Mark, Jim and Tyrone were great - they were careful, considerate, funny and very very hardworking.  They are a real asset to your company.

I also appreciate how you always picked up your phone when I called - many companies leave the message machine on, and sometimes that can be very unnerving.
